Pretty Wallets!

What do I say? The fabrics talk for themselves. Lovely lilac reminds me of a perfect vintage tablecloth-- the kind my grandmother always had out during the first warm day of the year. Chocolate truffles is a yummy lead up to the best chocolate holiday of the year - Valentine's Day.

Both are 8 x 4, with plenty of pockets, and a zipper closure.

Just got some new vintage buttons and great zippers in the mail! Can not wait to put them on some wonderful purses! Tomorrow is my "day off" from the little people so look for new purses in the shop this week! FUN!

Cape Cod Plaid

I never been to Cape Cod. I dream about going one day. I would love to see cedar shingles houses lined against a backdrop of the roaring ocean. What a dream to stroll along the beaches of that little island looking ever so stylish with my LL Bean Canvas boat tote. But alas, a fear of flying and a fear of a 25.00 Massachusetts Cape Cod beach burger leave me dreaming in Georgia.....oh, Cape Cod.

New Year - New Bags

I love to decorate. Love it! Moving furniture, hanging fixtures, or painting is my answer to a relaxing day.

There is a running joke in my house related to decorating. Whenever I present an idea to the hubby he always replies ," one day when we have our cabin." Well, we have four kids, two dogs, a mortgage, and a mini van........that one day is far off.

In the meanwhile, I will let the fictious cabin be inspiration for a new bag made from duck cloth canvas and an upcycled oxford plaid shirt.
